IF you are looking for a lesbian drama that can make you roll over, I can't think straight download is what you need to do. The movie is directed by Shamim Sarif and is a lesbian drama set in contemporary Britain. Shamim Sarif is a renowned novelist and has won critical acclaim and prizes for her other work, including other lesbian stories. I can't think straight is one of them.

The movie is a light hearted romantic comedy that has Sheetal Sheth and Lisa Ray playing the lead roles. Lisa Ray is playing Tala, a London-based Palestinian, who is getting ready for her Middle Eastern wedding. On the other hand, Sheetal Sheth plays the role of Leyla, a shy and conservative British Indian woman, who is already dating Tala's best friend.

Both the characters meet incidentally and soon become more than friends. Poles apart from each other, both the characters refuse to accept the choices made by their hearts. While Tala runs away to Jordan, Leyla tries to move on with her life.  As Tala's wedding approaches near, the complications begin to increase and soon both the characters become exposed to their desires and sexualities. This creates confusion, conflict and controversies, which the script deals with using humour and drama.

Shamim Sarif has, as always, handled the lesbian concept to perfection. She has made the characters look incredibly original and has created the light hearted situations beautifully. The dialogue is impressive and the movie is an overall entertainer. To the credit of Shamim Sarif, she has been able to handle this movie as well as she did The World Unseen. Both the movies are so similar yet so different. While I cant think straight is a light hearted movie, The world unseen was an intense romantic film that addressed sensitive issues like sexuality, politics and culture. Both the movies are example of fine directorship.

The World Unseen released in theatres worldwide on Nov 07 2008 and I Can't Think Straight came out a week after. Both the movies got excellent response from audiences as well as critics. According to the audience as well as critics, the world unseen had an edge. The movie presented the concept of love and rebellion in a more intense way than I Just Can't think Straight's comedy.
