The Hollywood Cookie Diet

I'm skeptical of diets that have the word 'cookie' in their titles. Same with the word 'Hollywood' for that matter. But I am also strangely drawn to them at the same time, because boy do I love cookies! They are my downfall, and if I can find a diet that will help me lose weight fast but still allow me to eat cookies, well'I think it's worth a shot.

Now, because this is a fad diet that doesn't not really provide enough fat, calories, fiber, and nutrients (even though they advertise that they do), I wouldn't go on this diet long term. But if you have a dress you need to fit into and want to try something out for a few weeks of quick weight loss'why not give it a shot?

Here's how the Hollywood Cookie Diet goes: From when you wake up until dinner time, you get four cookies to eat. (Flavors: Chocolate chip, lemon, and oatmeal raisin.) And then a sensible dinner, which according to the Hollywood Cookie Diet folks could mean a smoothie, which is not really my idea of dinner. In their suggested recipes file, however, they do have some more balanced and more filling options, like salads with tuna, vegetables, and beans.

What I would do to change this diet: I would suggest have two cookies in the morning, then a balanced meal for lunch, and then two cookies in the evening. We need more energy during the day and I'm just afraid that a cookie won't suffice. And don't our sweet tooths kick in at night?

By restricting your calories with these cookies (which apparently taste pretty good), you can expect to lose about 15 pounds in one month. Tempted? I sort of am. Maybe it's because I'm craving a chocolate chip cookie right now as I write this'
